I wanna be adored
Pretty self explanatory.
I would have to say Sonic Heroes. Sure, the plot was laughable, and it was really repetitive, but I actually liked some of the zones in this game, and they were designed well, too. I also liked the music tracks. Although I found some of the actors overrated, in my opinion.

i'm pretty much dead here
I agree with you too; Sonic Heroes is probably one of my favorite Sonic games of all time; heck, even favorite game of all time. Bar the silly plot and voice acting, I say that the game was pretty fun with it's awesome and catchy music and creative zones.
Other than that, I don't understand how many hated Sonic 3D Blast. Sure, all you do is find little birds all day, but I quite enjoyed it. It was pretty fun running around and such.

Sonic Heroes is one of my favorite Sonic games!
It took the classic style and put it in a modern setting. It's all bright and classic, the first level is like Green Hill Zone's coast and you collect Chaos Emeralds by clearing special stages, rather than progressing through the story! Plus, it brought back Metal Sonic and the Chaotix.
Why people hate it, I have no clue. I like having a lot of characters and being able to pummel countless foes. I liked how it had different types of boss battles. I believe this was the first one to have hordes of enemies as a boss battle.
But, if you ask me, there's another Sonic game out there... One that's even more underrated.
Shadow the Hedgehog.
That game is awesome. People complain about the stupidest things when it comes to that game.
"Waugh! You have to use guns!"
Well, whoop-de-doo. There have been guns since Sonic 1. There have been pistols, lasters, gatling guns, cannons and everything else you can think of ever since then. Eggrobo's laser? Eggman's cannon that he almost used on Amy? The Police shooting Chaos with machine guns? Gamma's rifle? Omega's twin Rail/Gatling guns? The Egg Pawns' vast arsenal? Why did people choose this moment in time to start complaining about weapons? It makes no sense to me.
"But... But... But... They said the D-Word!"
Knuckles' rap songs in Sonic Adventure 2 were worse. His World was also a bit vulgar. I don't see anyone complaining about that. Besides, there are far worse things they could have said, and you all know that. In fact, in the game's T-rated prototype, there were words like "Hell" being used in ways we know how.
"Wubble-blub! You have to be evil!"
I never heard you complaining about that in Sonic Adventure or Sonic Adventure 2! In fact, you loved every moment of it! In fact, in Sonic Adventure 2, during the gameplay, the heroes were just as bad as the darks, and you know it. Besides, none of the G.U.N. soldiers even die. They just lay there, waiting for you to clear the stage or heal them. Only Eggman's robots and Black Doom's soldiers can actually die in this game.
"Awww... It's so sad. You kill living things!"
Then why don't you jump on Mario for that? Sonic has already been more intense than Mario from the start and you have a problem with a game where you can kill monsters from another planet that desire nothing more than the destruction of mankind? You have some serious issues. I shouldn't even have to bring up that early Sonic concept about him fighting Dr. BumblebeeMan or whatever he was to be called. It's ridiculous.
"Good-bye, Sonic... we'll miss you *sobs*"
Oh, for crying out loud! You don't NEED to play as Sonic all the time. Besides, Shadow has all of Sonic's abilities that you need, and then some! Plus, you CAN play as Sonic, as well as all the other characters in this game (other than Cream) that were playable in Sonic Heroes by plugging in a controller into port 2. I've done this, before, and it's pretty cool.
My only real complaint is that Big didn't come, needing Shadow's help to rescue Froggy from G.U.N,'s experimentation or something. That would have MADE the game.
|Hopefully, I'll be able to make my way through this place. A few steps every so often. But in 16-Bit, you don't leave any footprints!|
