I don't really count that cos those are really just a ripple layer above a pitfall. This is Sonic in just enough water to cover his head. |

I'm lovin' it :3 I'll make a better post overall on my opinion later, but for now geez I'm really having fun with this game. And I have to agree that past games were too easy. (This time you really have to strive to get an A or S rating.) I also like that this one has a good amount of challenge... Bring on the spiked balance beams that collapse! Whoo! Next time they need to add timed green/red motion missiles and a constantly rising lava level into the mix haha. |

God damn, I cannot beat Dark Gaia with that stupid Colossus shit. It takes like 5 minutes to approach him, and in the mean time, you gotta work with SLOW maneuvering. And no, that shit just ain't enough. I can't even dodge that fucking laser. NEVER. 32 lives wasted on just that damn laser! How the fuck did any of you work up the patience to actually beat that guy? |

That shit drove me insane the first 15 lives.... Basically the third time is the hardest.. The first 2 rock throws can be dodged, the next you need to punch. I hold the R trigger because chip punches slooooow as hell when you just press it. Time it out then it should be a bit easier...repeat for the next row of rocks that come toward you. While Dark Gaia is charging, let go of X and move towards one side then move to the other holding LB he'll take damage regardless except it won't be as much. The next meteorite patterns I don't remember but keep moving forward and when Dark Gaia is reaching towards the magma stop what your doing and hold the either L or R trigger then time your punches, then repeat, eventually after 3 or 4 throws he'll charge his laser again, hold X and rush his ass. After you complete this fight, watch where your going in the next. I have no idea how I got an S rank...I can't even do it again. |

*Double Post IGN 360 Review 4.5/10 http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/934/934713p1.html I never complained about reviews for a game....EVER. Fuck this guy's review. IGN gave a better score to Sonic the hedgehog 2006. http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/748/748598p1.html |

Fuck Hilary Goldstein. It's like he just wanted to hate the game from the start. Oh by the way, I finally beat that son of a bitch Dark Gaia. Playing as Super Sonic was as disappointing as always. |

Someone else from IGN should see this comment. "Are you serious!? Are you serious, IGN!? Is this some sort of really really early April Fools joke? Ok, this is proof, PROOF, that there's some sort of conspiracy against Sonic games. I mean IGN gave the Wii version a 7.2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 06 a 4.8, while Sonic Unleashed 360 gets a 4.5?? Yeah, something definitely doesn't add up here..." -KirbyPhelpsPK |

It's not IGN as a whole. Certain reviewers are just assholes. The editors at IGN Wii are actually fair in their judgement (in my opinion) and to be honest, a 7.2 is not at all that bad. The folks at IGN 360 are a different story. |

I think it also depends on your interpretation of the numbers system. Some people see getting a 7 as really bad, when a seven is, I would say, in the "buy it and have a go because you might really like it, though there are problems" margin. What this guy is saying is that everything other than the daytime levels are dire. That's more than half the game declared shit, so it only seems to make sense to me that it gets less than half marks. Sounds like a valid opinion to me. |

So, you agree that the Werehog sections deserve a complete "0" and are completely fine with cutting the game's score in half? If your going to cut the game's score in half because of those sections, at least give valid points.. Just a few examples: Are the controls broken? No. Are the graphics very ugly to look at? No. Does the Werehog sections contain an uncountable amount of glitches? No. Does it has framerate issues? Yes. Does it contain bad camera angles? Yes. Is the levels unplayable? No. Is the sound scratchy, muffled or low quality? No. The stages have their flaws but I don't think its deserves a complete "0" besides the Werehog stages weren't that bad; definitely alot more fun then searching for Master Emerald Shards.. From what I heard, this ManWoman is just a bad reviewer in general not only towards sonic. I did some research and found a comment from a person who is "Not" a sonic fan and was complaining about a review the ManWoman did about Mercenaries 2. "Hilary Goldstein is by far one of the worst (if not THE worst) reviewer on IGN, which is saying something, because IGN gives some terrible reviews. In other reviews, he's actually gotten key plot information incorrect and, in most cases, I honestly believe he doesn't play an entire game, and will review it based on his first hour's impression of it. Take his word with a grain of salt. Mine as well, I guess." -UranusLIVES This ManWoman really does have a bad reputation.... Also like Gamebuddy said he purposely played bad during the video review. I wish IGN would get someone else to do this review. Ugh... I sound like a bitchy fanboy. <_< |
