Just got the 360 version, the 1st Werehog level was alright. It definitely has a God of War for kids feel. Day time levels are a blast. Some of the music is unfitting though. |

I read on Sonic Retro that the 360 version has 3 daytime acts and 3 nighttime acts per level. Unlike the Wii version (that I have now, I'm gonna buy the 360 version too) which has 3 nighttime acts and 1 daytime act per level. I've played the Wii version btw. The combat in the nighttime acts is a button masher, but the platforming in it is fine. And the daytime levels are a blast. |

The rest of it could be terrible, though. I'm remaining in my stubborn bubble of the likelihood of this game being an overhyped turd 'til I try it myself. Cynicism is fun. |

Haha. Actually to be honest I haven't heard anything truly awful about this game at all besides people comparing the werehog segments to God of War and Ristar and being a little bit boring but other then that nothing. |

Me either actually. If anything the worst I've heard from those who've played it is it's good but not quite the franchise-reviving phenomenon some are hyping it up to be. As long as it's better than '06, it's certainly a step up. But then that would hardly take much effort. |

Well here is what I think: Graphics: I like the cartoon feel they added compared to Sonic 06, gives them more emotion. There are a few times the frame rate drops but its not terrible compared to Sonic 06. Sound: Voice Acting is exactly what you expect from the Sonic X voice actors so don't expect to much in that department. The sound effects are great. The music in some levels don't really fit, however some like the safari day time level fit perfectly. Controls: Daytime is great controls in 2D and decent in 3D, however the camera is still a problem if you want to go backwards. Werehog form controls aren't the best though, they can definitely be better, I wish he could pounce when he dashes and have better combos. Also grabbing can be hard to do. Story: I don't want to spoil it. Extras: the World map is nice but the City hubs could be better. The first fight you have with eggman is awesome, its fast pace and fun. There are also times where your the gunner of the tornado 1 but they could of made it better. The Werehog form is just decent, not terrible, but it could of been so much better. Day time Sonic is as much fun as the first Sonic Rush game. I give it a 8/10 so far but I'm not that far in the game. |

Does anybody plan on streaming the 360 version soon? I have no money to buy the game and the earliest I can play it is later next week when I borrow it from a friend. |

Rule Britannia. If it -is- good then the cynicism will be lifted and we'll feel great, however. Like a sudden lift from great misery to greater ecstacy. S'how it usually works. Well, unless the dreaded Cycle kicks in again.. |
